Owners of Inflatable dinghies have long struggled with the necessity of taking their outboard motor off every time they tilted their dinghy up on the Weaver davits. At long last we are happy to introduce the Weaver Leaver to make life easier. With just a simple installation your problems are over. Designed to be used with Weaver Snap Davits for swim steps, the Weaver Leaver allows your outboard to stay mounted on the transom of your sport dinghy when in the up or stored position. The Weaver Leaver is manufactured from rugged electro-polished stainless steel for a long life even in salt water. Will handle outboard motors up to 15 hp or a maximum of 85 pounds. [Specified by the manufacturer] When mounted with a boat and motor combination weighing more that 150 pounds it is recommended you use a block and tackle or winch to assist in raising the dinghy. The Weaver Leaver comes complete with all support rods and pins. Model 1 is for dinghies with inflation tubes that are within 2” of the top the transom, Model 2 is for a tube between 2” & 4” higher, Model 3 is for boats with tubes as much as 4” to 6” higher than the top of the transom.
